Tribute to Station Officer Evans

TRIBUTE TO RETIRING STATION OFFICER BY CLLR JONES

 

In a statement Cllr George Jones paid tribute to the retiring Station of Officer of the Fire Service Clifford Evans. Clifford who retired earlier this month retired after nearly 30 years in the fire service was an outstanding example of a local person giving service to their community.

 

Cllr Jones said “Clifford followed on from his father Charlie Evans who also gave outstanding service to the Greystones Fire Troop deserves to be praised for the very professional attention he gave to his work in the Fire Service. Indeed the whole approach of the Greystones Fire Team was a credit to the leadership provided by Clifford during his time as Station Officer.

Cllr Jones wished Clifford and his family many enjoyable years ahead free from the duties of the local fire service.

 

Cllr Jones concluded by wishing incoming Station Officer Ciaran Hayden success in his new role.
